Tired of her racist tirades, a neighbor struck back at a former Sarasota, Fla., school bus driver by sharing a video of one of her stunning outbursts on social media, according to a report at ABC affiliate WWSB.
The video allegedly captures Pamela Michener spewing racial slurs at a neighbor. She retired from a job as a school bus driver in May after 10 years, the report says.
Let me tell you something, you fat fu---ing n--ger: Maybe if you disciplined your fu---ng n--ger, stinky-a-- black children, I wouldn't have to put my two cents in," a voice alleged to be Micheners shouts on the video, the report says.
Mya Ronk, Michener's neighbor, told the news station that she decided to post the video so people could see who had been working with their children. She apparently got the response she was seeking.
Everyone was outraged, Ronk said in an interview with WWSB about the video, which she says has prompted calls to the school district.
When approached at her home by a WWSB reporter, Michener denied that she is racist. She said she had been threatened, but it was unclear by whom and why she chose to use such language.
First of all, Im not a racist, Michener told the reporter. Its just the opposite. She then closed the door after thanking the reporter for her time. Through a closed door, the reporter asked Michener about her language choice.
Well, what do you expect? She told the reporter. My life is threatened, ok? I have people attacking me all the time. What do you expect?
For her part, Ronk says shes happy she got the word out.
This is who our kids are around, Ronk told the station. We dont want our kids feeling unsafe.
