After applying for 300 jobs and failing to secure any, Alfred Ajani decided to stand outside Waterloo station during rush hour holding a sign with his details for potential employers making their way to work.

The Coventry graduate has since been offered numerous interview opportunities. Here he is, holding his sign:

When people on Twitter saw he was taking things into his own hands, they praised his proactive approach.

Soon enough, Ajani was trending on Twitter in London.

While he was job-hunting with his sign in Waterloo station, someone was also kind enough to buy him a coffee.

Ajani told the Daily Mail: "I realised that there are thousands of students out there using the same old methods of applying for jobs online and through recruitment agencies and so I thought Id try something different."

"One woman worked in advertising and took a CV and another guy ran back from his train and said hed walked past but had started thinking and might have something for me. I've already had some phone calls and have got an interview booked for later today."

A job offer even came from Barcelona.

From the screengrab he shared of his phone, things dont seem like theyll be slowing down any time soon.
