David Holmes, 38, was riding his A47, wearing a helmet camera, when he crashed into a turning car at 97 m.p.h. in Norfolk, England, in June 2013. David was killed instantly.  Police were able to recover his fully intact camera.

His mother is now leading the safety campaign with the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Police Department. The footage shows the moment David fatally collided with the car. The video also features his mother, Brenda Holmes, begging all drivers on the road to more pay attention to safety.

"I know he rode fast that day, he loved speed but he also loved life," said Brenda. "I just hope that somebody benefits from the warning; that people slow down and take time to look for bikes."

According to the BBC, the driver of the car admitted to careless driving and said he didn't see the motorcycle or the car behind it. The driver was sentenced to 130 hours community service and was banned from driving for 18 months, the BBC says.

"If we can prevent one accident, one family going through what we have been through then David would not have died in vain," said Brenda.
