Atlanta video producer Jay Williams is the father of 34 children
by 17 different women, and he's never acknowledged any of them.
But on a recent episode of OWN Network's "Iyanla: Fix My Life
," life coach Iyanla Vanzant brought his family together for the first time.
She began by forcing Williams to hold baby dolls representing his children. He has so many that they can't even fit in his arms at the same time.
Slowly, Vanzant reintroduces Williams to his family. Williams speaks to both his parents, the mothers of his children and, finally, the children themselves.
During the episode, there is an emotional moment between Williams, his father and one of his sons. Because Williams' father was never a role model, Williams never learned how crucial it was to be one himself. As a result, his son has spent many years without a male authority figure.
In the last video, Williams comes to the conclusion that he must let his children go because he doesn't deserve a role in their lives after so many years.
Williams finally understands how many children he has.
He's forced to try and hold them all.
Williams speaks with a few of his children.
He apologizes for abandoning them.
