There are a lot of viable options, but I'm guessing that "writing a song and appearing in a music video for a third-party candidate for governor in Colorado" wasn't the first thing that popped into your mind. Thats a shame because if you had guessed that, you would have been right.

The song is called "The Trap," and it has nothing to do with the trap youd expect Wyclef Jean to talk about.

It was created for Mike Dunafon, an independent libertarian who served as the mayor of Glendale, CO, before deciding to take his skills to the next level (of government).

The song is filled with obligatory references to The Man and Big Government and, even though his anti-corruption and pro-marijuana message might go over well with some voters, he has some work to do if he wants to have the slightest chance of making the move to Denver.

Hopefully, Wyclef Jean is the spark he needs.
