A shocked woman was forced into an uncomfortable three-mile journey and missed her stop after getting her head stuck in a set of railway carriage doors.
Russian police are investigating why she was forced to travel in such a bizarre manner after getting trapped while trying to get off.
Ilona Shubina, 61, was only able to escape her predicament when the train eventually pulled into Dmitrovskaya station near Moscow.
The woman told transport police that no one on the train had tried to help her. She was revealed to have suffered injuries to her neck when doctors examined her.
