So who is Martin Baker? Well lets start with why he even matters, he received major backlash from social media due to being the only african american to attend a rally in Ferguson, Missouri in support of office Darren Wilson. Darren Wilson is the office who shot and killed african american teen Michael Brown.
Meet 44-year-old Martin Baker, a consultant and former Republican congressional primary candidate who thinks Mike Brown had a "criminalistic bent" and that protesters only want to "see more crime" in Ferguson.
He was one of the people who bought a dark blue shirt with a police-style badge that said: "Officer Darren Wilson — I stand by you," the Guardian reported.
"People are too quick to play the race card," Baker, 44, told the British newspaper. "Lawlessness knows no color."
Upon hearing of his presence at the rally and his head-scratching comments, social media tore Baker a new a**hole, calling him everything from an "Uncle Tom" to comparing him to Boondocks' Uncle Ruckus and Chapelle Show's Clayton Bigsby. Yeah, he's definitely not the most liked guy right now.
